Crimea is an autonomous republic within Ukraine with its capital in the city of Simferopol. In 2014, Crimea was illegally occupied by Putin’s Russia. For the whole world, Crimea is part of Ukraine.
The Crimean Peninsula is located on the Black Sea coast. Before Putin’s occupation, Crimea was a popular resort and nature reserve.
